Mr. Cruz is a dynamic and poised professional with over twenty years of management and leadership experience in Residential Real Estate. Responsibilities have encompassed the areas of advertising, marketing, business strategy, and technical assistance, special projects and financial processes; interviewing and evaluating staff; as well as representing the organization as an advocate and liaison with community organizations, private industry and local governments.  Mr. Cruz is a gifted leader with excellent communication, presentation, analytical, negotiation, organizational and innovation skills. Mr. Cruz is widely recognized for building high-performing teams and helping agents translate opportunity into consistent production.

Robert has developed a reputation as a data-driven real estate strategist, known for his ability to analyze housing trends, mortgage markets, and economic indicators to anticipate shifts in the marketplace. By combining market analytics with real-world transaction experience, he helps agents and clients understand emerging trends and adapt their strategies to succeed in changing market cycles. His insights have guided hundreds of agents in navigating complex transitions, from distressed property markets to rapidly shifting inventory and financing environments.

Mr. Cruz has played a key role in developing programs that support agents and clients through complex real estate transactions, particularly in the areas of loss mitigation, distressed properties, and REO assets. He has trained more than 2000 real estate professionals and has helped hundreds of homeowners successfully navigate short sales, loan modifications, and bank-owned property transactions. In his corporate leadership role, he also manages relationships with institutional investors, servicers, and asset managers while serving as a trusted advisor to managers and agents throughout the organization.

Robert earned his bachelor’s degree in Latin American and Latino Studies from University of California, Santa Cruz and is bilingual in English and Spanish. He previously served on the board of National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals Silicon Valley and is a recipient of the Navy Achievement Medal and multiple Meritorious Masts from the United States Marine Corps.
