In 2003 at the age of 22, Larry signed a contract for his first property—a $410k high-rise condo under construction in Ballston, VA. By carefully tracking local developments, he discovered that a Westin hotel was undergoing permitting next door, which would eventually obstruct the condo's view. Recognizing the opportunity, he sold the unit three months later for a 30% profit and reinvested the equity into an $879k townhouse nearby. This marked the beginning of Larry’s passion and journey with real estate.
Since then, Larry has bought and sold dozens of properties and gained extensive experience navigating permitting processes across various counties and states. His portfolio includes cosmetic fix-and-flips, full-gut renovations, and infill teardown new construction. He has negotiated commercial leases, overseen a restaurant space buildout, and managed multifamily rentals and Airbnbs. These ventures have provided Larry with a broad and in-depth understanding of the real estate industry.
Although initially becoming a licensed agent for private investments and family needs, Larry didn’t consider working with the general public until a debilitating health crisis reshaped his perspective. After a four-year recovery, he realized the fulfillment that comes from being of service to others and decided to help others navigate real estate transactions.
This decision was further reinforced by his experiences with realtors in past transactions, where Larry often encountered missteps such as mispriced listings, missed contingency deadlines, and negotiation oversights. These experiences motivated Larry to set a higher standard, combining he expertise and attention to detail to provide clients with the exceptional service they deserve.
